After a market research, followed by a trade mission, ANIEME (Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters) has verified that Angolan importers and distributors highly appreciate Spanish furniture and interior solutions.
Although Angolan furniture market is modern style oriented, on the contract projects side there is a sustained demand of high-end classical furniture, which is selected mainly through catalogue. Spanish contract furniture is being used to furnish luxurious private mansions and public and private institutions.
As a result of the increasing presence of Spanish furniture companies in Angola, MUEBLES CANELLA and MARINER have recently worked on major complete furnishing projects in Luanda.
Valencia-based MUEBLES CANELLA, a firm specialized in high end classical furniture and decorative solutions, has been charged with the complete furnishing of a luxurious restaurant in the Angolan capital. The company has supplied pieces of its LUXOR collection and the custom-made wood panelling and bar.
MARINER, on the other side, has undertaken the furnishing of the presidential office of Sonangol Headquarters. A circular shaped office, where they have combined classic style pieces with avant-garde technological innovations, such as curved panels and integrated automatism for the elevation of a hidden screen.
